This year&#8217;s programme will bring us from the tense drama of The Pyre, to the tender queer romance of Born at Night. Plankton explores masculinity in the face of impending fatherhood, and Snippets sees the return of festival favourite and Cannes Palme d&#8217;Or winning director Juanjo Gim\u00e9nez to Scottish screens. Nearly asleep, she leaves the program halfway through and reads a story to her little son that accompanies him in his dreams. One night, driven by the renewing energy of a mysterious boy, she decides to start a new radio station.
