In the summer of 2004, Marina travels to Vigo to meet her paternal family for the first time and obtain a signature needed for a scholarship application. Raised by her mother and unaware of her father’s side, she finds herself navigating unfamiliar relatives, long-buried silences and inherited memories. As past and present intertwine, Marina pieces together fragments of her family history while coming to terms with her own identity.
